He would then go on to face Artur Tubarao at JF 13 - Jungle Fight Ceara he defeated Tubarao via TKO (Punches) in the first round.[4]

He then fought PRIDE veteran Edson Claas Vieira and won the fight after Vieira suffered an ankle injury just 1 minute into the first round.[5][6][7]

Oliveira fought against Luiz Guilherme de Andrade at Jungle Fight 29 The fight began with Oliveira using his big reach advantage to pick the local fighter apart with jabs and kicks and it looked like a finish was near. In the latter part of the round, Oliveira connected with what seemed to be a legal and clean punch to the left eye of de Andrade, who immediately fell down and tapped due to the strike. He alleged that he was poked in the eye and couldn’t continue. The referee confirmed that it was an eye poke and chose to call the fight a No Contest. Replays of the scene were inconclusive.[11]

Oliveira's next fight was against Ubiratan Marinho Lima at Jungle Fight 30,[12] Oliveira won via unanimous decision.[13]

Oliveira fought Jair Goncalves at WFE 10 - Platinum.[14] Oliveira won the bout via TKO in the first round.
